Robin Hardy graduated from the Central School of Art and Design in 1969 with a 1st class Honours Degree in Art & Design. He was recruited by the advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather but left after only a year to team up with one of his ex-Central colleagues, Richard Escasany. They won the D&AD Silver Award for stationery design which inevitably attracted the attention of a wide and varied range of clients including Penguin Books, Thames Television, Christie’s Auctioneers, The Macallan Malt Whisky, Phonogram Records, TSB Bank and Searcy’s, the upmarket caterer.
This extra demand meant that some extremely talented people were recruited and with their help a substantial body of work was produced, some examples of which are shown on this website. If you like what you see, why not get in touch with Robin?
